  • Objective

    To ensure that individuals in the public service and PSD’s sponsored students are able to increase their productivity by using self-potential positively and proactively through psychological services.

  • Function

    • Formulate policies and provide guidelines on psychological and counseling services in the public service.
    • Plan, formulate, implement and supervise the use of psychological instruments in the public service.
    • Provide consultancy services to ministries, departments and other government agencies with regards to psychological and counseling services in an effort to:
      • Develop public services officers in the psychosocial aspects;
      • Increase officers’ mental and emotional capabilities and strength to a higher level;
      • Provide input during the induction process and strengthen and develop the career path to create healthy, productive and excellent public service officers in line with the department’s vision; and
      • Assist other Ministries, Departments and Government Agencies to develop the concept of wellness-well being in the public service.
    • Incorporate the psychological approach in providing all government services.
    • Provide counseling services to assist officers and staff to improve their productivity and plan their career path.
    • Prepare mentally public service officers who will be leaving the service on reaching the mandatory retirement age.
    • Be a consultant to the government on psychological and counseling services in the public service.
  • Client’s Charter

    We promise to provide professional psychological services based on principles and practices as a Psychologists. We also guarantee to meet the needs and comfort of our customers by:

    • Providing consultancy services such as an efficient advice and a competent guidance accordingly based on psychological ethics and values.
    • Administering systematic and protective counseling services for at least.
    • sessions per month (upon request) for government civil servant.
    • Maintaining and preserving the confidentiality of client’s personal information and problems.
    • Considering applications and exercising appointments according to the requests services.
    • Preparing psychological report within 30 days after counseling sessions and/ or psychological testing is taken place.
    • Assisting and providing services to government agencies for consultations and advice development and management of human resources according to psychological perspectives.
