DIVISIONAL FUNCTIONS
The Public Service Department is divided into three programmes to realise its vision, mission and objectives, which are in accordance with the emphasis of JPA to its responsibility in formulating human resource policies and as an advisor to the public sector. The divisions that are under the responsibility of the PSD’s Top Management are divided as follows.

Scope and functions of MBJ
- Discusses and decides on matters concerning job requirements that are related to administration except those involving Government policies or personal matters
- Enables employees to participate and be more responsible for matters related to their work and comply with the requirements under which their duties are being carried out
- Encourages employees to gain more knowledge regarding the administration of various Departments through participation in discussions; and
- Provides the facilities to improve the running and organising of Public Service Department and facilitates receiving employees’ suggestions and recommendations on this matter.
