1. How do I apply for a PSD sponsorship programme via the ePermohonan system?

The application of PSD sponsorship programme, which utilises ePermohonan, requires user account registration, which can be completed by clicking the 'Register' button on the ePermohonan Home Page. Account registration is free and must be done only once (Single Sign-On) for every applicant. The applicant must use the same account to apply for any sponsorship programme via ePermohonan.

2. I have forgotten my password.

The applicant may click on the ‘Login Problem’ on the main page and enter the MyKad number to reset the password. If the applicant experiences any problems, please contact the System Administrator (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).

3. I did not receive the activation e-mail after signing up. What should I do then?

The activation email will be sent automatically once the account registration has been successfully created. The applicant should check the Spam or Junk Mail folders of the applicant’s personal e-mail if the e-mail is not received within 5 minutes. If the activation is still not, the applicant may click on the ‘Login Problem’ button on the home page to request for another activation email. 4. I mistakenly registered the MyKad number. How do I correct such information?

The applicant may click on the ‘Login Problem’ button on the home page and select “I have registered wrong MyKad number.” Next, enter the required information for the purpose of updating the identity card number. If the applicant experiences any problems, please contact the System Administrator (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).

5. Why can’t I log into ePenawaran?

The ePenawaran system is solely intended to be used by students who have received a PSD sponsorship offer. Successful applicants will be informed through a notification on the eSILAV2 website (http://esilav2.jpa.gov.my/). If a student has been informed of the success of his/her sponsorship application and has entered the correct password but still failed to log in to the system, please contact the System administrator (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.). For the purpose of PSD sponsorship applications, please check the PSD website or e-SILA, the Official Portal of Human Capital Development, from time to time for further information.

6. I have registered. However, the system indicates that the student/officer record does not exist during log in.

The MySELF system can only be accessed by PSD-sponsored students or officers who are fully sponsored for Diploma, First Degree, Master’s Degree, or PHD qualifications only. For students/officers who recently accepted a PSD sponsorship, the MySELF System can be accessed within 30 days after the students/officers received their first fee payment or allowance. For PSD-sponsored students/officers using their Old Identity Card, the old password must be set first if it was not set during the eSILA-ID registration. Setting is via the Help tab, Old Identity Card Registration sub-navigation.

7. I have a sponsorship which is based on my Old Identity Card and I did not set that identity card when I registered. What should I do?

8. I need to report for duty to PSD after graduating. What should I do?

Only PSD-sponsored pre-service students are required to report for duty via MYSELF within 30 days after completing studies, regardless of whether they graduated successfully or not.

The reporting must be done online by accessing the following webpage:

  1. Go to https://myself.jpa.gov.my/
  2. Log-in, click the Study tab
  3. Click on Reporting After Graduation sub-navigation
  4. Fill out all the information, and click Submit Application

Documents that must be submitted when filling out the Reporting After Graduation application online are as follows:

  1. A copy of the Diploma/Degree/Master’s/PhD certificate;
  2. A copy of the Examination Transcript;
  3. Proof of job application with the Appointing Authority (www.spa.gov.my) PSD scholars (other than medicine, dentistry, and pharmacy) are required to apply to at least 5 posts based on the latest academic qualification).
