Procedure Where Officer Is Subject To Criminal Proceedings
Procedure that needs to be referred to if an officer is charged in court for a criminal offence.

‘Convicted’ or ‘conviction’ means a finding by court, under any written law, that such officer is guilty of a criminal offence.

‘Criminal offence’ means any offence involving fraud or dishonesty or moral turpitude.

‘Court’ means a court, including a Shariah Court, which has competent jurisdiction under any written law to try a person for a criminal offence.
