To ensure that Public Service has exceptional members through the strategic and effective formulation and implementation of service and career policies.

1. Formulates and implements service policies and strategies;
2. Monitors the implementation of service policies;
3. Provides advisory and consultancy services in relation to service policies:
4. Manages Common-Users Services human resources;
5. Manages the performance and competency appraisal in Public Service; and
6. Executes matters related to discipline, examinations and promotion in Public Service.
